Welcome to the Talent Circulation Platform designed for Institutions
The Talent Circulation Platform is intended as a resource for institutions seeking valuable information on strategies to attract, welcome, and retain top research talents within their research environments. It is developed by EURAXESS network within the scope of ERA Talent project, specifically EURAXESSTalent Circulation Hub and Talent Circulation Community of Practice that focuses on exchange of knowledge and best practice in relation to attracting, integrating and retaining talents.
In addition to providing an overview of EU-level policies related to talent circulation in the 'Talent Circulation at a Glance' section, this platform is structured into three modules that focus on attracting researchers, creating a welcoming environment, and (re)integrating and retaining research talent. Each module offers strategies and best practices aimed at achieving institutional success within the ERA. Furthermore, the 'Talent Circulation Hub' section provides insights into the activities organized by the Talent Circulation Hub and the Talent Circulation Community of Practice (CoP) or other related Communities of Practice, which you are welcome to join.
How can institutions benefit from becoming active members of EURAXESS initiative?
Institutions gain significant advantages by joining the EURAXESS initiative as active members. Enhanced visibility is a key benefit, as membership allows organizations to publish job vacancies, fellowships, and hosting opportunities on the EURAXESS portal. Job postings are free and can be linked to existing institutional listings, reducing administrative burdens while maintaining flexibility in selection processes.
By endorsing the EURAXESS Declaration of Commitment, institutions demonstrate their dedication to fostering researcher mobility and career development, which can strengthen their reputation as employers.
For those pursuing HR Excellence in Research certification, EURAXESS membership supports alignment with the European Charter for Researchers, a prerequisite for the award. This certification enhances institutional credibility and competitiveness in securing EU funding.
