Selected opportunities and actively running schemes:

  • National Scholarship Programme- get a scholarship via a programme funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic
  • Job offers in Slovakia published and displayed at European EURAXESS portal - wide range of job opportunities available for researchers
  • Slovak Research and Development Agency - get financial support on the basis of bilateral cooperation between the Slovak Government and other countries
  • Fund of Stefan Schwarz - postdoctoral positions at the Slovak Academy of Sciences
  • IMPULZ - the IMPULZ programme aims to improve the excellence of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAS) and its research institutes by recruiting internationally recognized scientists and highly talented young researchers either from abroad or within Slovakia
  • DoktoGrant -  the Grant programme for SAS PhD students is the SAS activity with intend to support scientific projects for students of a daily form PhD study carried out within SAS organizations. The aim is to financially support high-quality project proposals, which will be implemented during PhD studies as a coherent part of projects and which can be realized within one year.
  • PostdokGrant  - the Grant Programme for SAS postdoctoral fellows aimed at supporting the scientific projects of postdoctoral fellows employed within the SAS organizations.
