Third Countries Citizens

Provision of social security for third country citizens in the Slovak republic is based on bilateral agreements on social security. Therefore the rules applied depend on the country of origin of the citizen. Currently, Slovak republic has signed and active bilateral agreements with: Croatia, Yugoslavia (succession to Serbia, Slovenia, Macedonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina), Canada, Quebec, Russian Federation, Ukraine, South Korea, and Israel.
